About
I am a TV Producer, Blogger, grad student at Johns Hopkins and a general man-about-the internet. This destination is a filtering point for ideas, thoughts, musings and ramblings that don’t find a home in any of my many other projects. You can expect to see ideas pertaining largely to my graduate work in Communications (specifically Digital Technology), as this will likely serve as a testing ground for theories and potential research ideas.
As someone who works in the Communications world, I am obsessed with the production and consumption of knowledge and information. How and Why we use knowledge and information concerns me greatly. And to a greater extend, what is the role that technology plays in the expansion of knowledge and information? I believe that communication can be used to spread and further social good, and technology is a large part of that process.
It should be generally understood that the thoughts and ideas expressed here are largely incomplete, and meant simply to spark discussion and for me to work through in hopes of furthering a discussion and inspiring the information process. The writings are a sounding board for exploration and should be taken as such (indeed, with a grain-of-salt). They are my own thoughts and in no way reflect the thoughts or actions of my employer.
